~*~HOW TO INSTALL EYE CANDY~*~

Do not duplicate or distribute without my written permission

Installing plugins such as Eye Candy is very simple, but first you need to download the
DLLs according to which Windows Operating System you have on your computer.
Most plugins and filters are made for Photoshop and won't work in PSP unless these additional
DLLs are installed.

::WINDOWS XP: You will need to copy/paste the 4 dlls into your System folder::
They are ready for download below.

::VISTA USERS: Your 6 or 7 DLLs must be copy/pasted into your System folder AND your System32 folder::
It doesn't make any difference if you have Vista 32-bit or 64-bit, DLLs go into both System and System32 folders.

::WINDOWS 7 USERS: Different instructions depending if you have 32-bit or 64-bit::
To find out if you have 32-bit or 64-bit here is a screenshot showing
where to find the info in Control Panel...System Security...System:

WINDOWS 7 32-BIT -- Your 10 DLLs must be copy/pasted into your System folder AND your System32 folder.

WINDOWS 7 64-BIT -- Your 10 DLLs must be copy/pasted into your SysWow64 folder only
(My Computer...drive c...Windows then find SysWow64 folder).

A NOTE ABOUT DLLs: Need to check in your System and System32 folders or SysWow64 folder to see if you have
some of these DLLs already in those folders...You don't want duplicate DLLs in the same folder(s).
Only copy/paste the DLLs that aren't already in those folders.

You can find your System folder by going to:
My computer...drive c...Windows, and then you will see the System folder and System32 folder.
Just copy and paste them into your System and System32 folders then you are ready to install your plugins.

NOTE FOR PSPX2 & PSPX3: Before downloading, you will need to create new folder, go to:
Drive C...Program Files...Corel...PSP X2 (or PSP X3)...Languages...EN and name it Plugins.

Download your Eye Candy 4000 to a folder you have made for plugins under My Documents.

Unzip it right back into this same folder.

Open the folder and locate an icon named fo-ec4
Double click on this and an install screen will come up.
Click thru all of the screens until you get to the product registration page:

Registration code for Eye Candy 4000
FMFNCCFNHOAA

Now you need to select the destination where you will install your Eye Candy.
Scroll down until you see Programs...double click
Now scroll until you see Jasc Software Inc. (or Corel if using PSPX or higher) .. double click
Now double click on PSP 9.01 (or Corel PSPX or higher)
Scroll down to PlugIns ...
Click Ok..and allow the Eye Candy to install.
Then click Finish

Your Eye Candy will be installed at this point...open your PSP and open
any graphic or tube...go to effects..down to plug ins and you will see Eye Candy.

In reference to installing other plugins - rule of thumb is that if there is a setup.exe file
in the downloaded folder then install same way as Eye Candy
(Drive C...Program Files...Corel...etc).

If there isn't a setup.exe file but only has .8bf files in it (i.e. Simple plugin),
then the downloaded folder needs to be copied and pasted
into Drive C...My Documents...Plugins.

**Make sure your File Location for Plugins in PSP is also pointing
to the Plugins folder in My Documents.
Otherwise, the plugins in My Documents won't show up in PSP.

Some plugin filters don't work and will need to be patched with the FM Patcher
(i.e. Mura Meister filters)

::DOWNLOAD FREE FM PATCHER HERE::

The FM Patcher will patch majority of the plugin filters that need patching but not all of them.
Rule of thumb - run the plugins that aren't working thru FM Patcher to see if that is the problem.
