Here are 3 essential suggestions for taggers:
1) When you are doing text, make SURE that the anti alias setting is on Smooth.
Huge differences will be made there. Heres where you find that:
2) Never resize larger. Only resize down.
When you resize, in the settings box that pops up there is a setting that is Resample Using:
Make SURE that setting is always set on Smart Size. Another HUGE difference will be seen.
The below shot shows that setting:
3) The last one is about sharpening.
Only sharpen if your tube gets fuzzy. Do not sharpen just cuz you think you should.
Sharpening will make your stuff hinky faster that anything else. If you really need to sharpen, only do it one time.
Every student should be checking these things on every tag.
Just take a quick glance and make sure your settings are right
and your tags will look SOOOOOOOOOO much better than they already are!!
